This post is a poem. Something a little simple. After you read the poem, I want you to guess what this poem is about and send your guess in the comment section.
It rose, rose in the east, how bright it is, shimmering bright, the hills took off their blankets, the grass took of their dew.
The bell rang, kock a doodle doo, one fine Sunday morning, the children laughed, the parents clapped.
Feeling the warmth, of the glowing sphere, jumping, running, sprinting, through the grass, how many things can it do?
Got colder but darker, the kids climbed the fence, after running and running, they got inside, not very long it got dark.
Jumping on beds, until tired out, after a long day outside, it will come back, it set, set in the west.
I hope you enjoyed the poem. There is one book I would like you guys to read. It is a very inspiring book. The title of the book is “Inside Out And Back Again.” The book is about a girl named Ha. She is experiencing the Vietnam War. Her family has to get out of Vietnam in time before the war completely strikes. She takes a journey to get to the USA. When she started going to school, she figures out that she has to do a lot to fit in with others. Kids made fun of her because of her name, Ha. They were doing it because her name sounds like hahaha…:) The whole book is written in poems. It is very fun reading it because it is sort of a game to figure out what the poem means. Hope you all read the book and enjoy it.
